Last Friday was the 2nd night of a FIRST EVER back to back Dub Nation! Reid Speed came out and massacred the crowd with an onslaught of dubstep bangers. She had no problem tearing up Bourbon St. and dropping filth such as one of our personal favorites NumberNin6’s “Garbage“. You could hear HOOOOOO from a mile away.
The crowd was intense as usual (peep the pics) and loved every minute of it. Once again the event was sold out which means you dubsteppas will have to snatch up tickets to these events even quicker than before because the nation is growing stronger and shows no signs of stopping.
Don’t forget that Summer Massive is just around the corner!!!!

Last Friday UK’s finest, TC, made Bourbon St. his home for the first time EVER!!! Even he proclaimed Baltimore knows how to get down!
Before TC hit the decks we had Cannonboyz dropping some of his own quality tunes to get the crowd rolling. Next up we had Gansta Fun from the Inglorious Basstards blasting some quality DnB tunes. At this point the crowd was coming in droves.
Then TC stepped up to the plate utterly destroyed the place dropping hit after hit making his way through multiple genres of music and making it look easy. The place was completely sold out by midnight and was completely annihilated when 2AM rolled around. TC had the crowd going crazy and begging for more. EVERYONE in the club was moving when TC hit the decks.

Steez Promo is bringing the bass this fall all across the east coast with some of the hottest names in underground dance music. In September we are taking Dub Nation on the road and heading up to Towson to take over the Recher on September 11th for Dub Nation Volume 17 with SMASH GORDON, then on September 22nd we’re headed back to Bourbon Street as Dub Nation & Steez Promo bring you a special Dub Nation event featuring UK heavyweight PLASTICIAN as well as special guest HELLFIRE MACHINA, and make sure to keep your calendars clear on September 17th for Dub Nation 18.
If that’s not enough for you, we’re turning it up a notch in October as we bring you Dub Nation DC Volume 2 featuring John B at U Street Music Hall plus we have Dub Nation & Steez Promo presenting with The O.M.G tour, RUSKO on October 23rd at The Canal Club in Richmond.
Plus you can’t forget about The Crystal Method performing at Bourbon Street on October 16 and we’ve got a few more headliners to announce for that so stay tuned.
And last but in no way least, clear your schedule on November 27th as we re-invent the wheel with LOADED – The Fall Massive Music Festival at Bourbon Street. We’re pulling out all the stops for this event, more sound, more lights, more lasers, more performers, more surprises, MORE HEADLINERS!!!!! If you weren’t able to make it out Friday you definitely missed an amazing event as Dirtyphonics & Dj Klever destroyed Bourbon St. at Independence on Friday night!
If you came out to the show, hopefully you made it out early for Dj Klever and the King of the Impossible Smash Gordon. Dj Klever is well known for his placing at DMC tournaments in US and around the world. His style is complex and precise. Dj Klever’s skill is at a level very few will ever reach and he made sure to showcase this as he dropped one of the hottest sets we’ve seen at Bourbon Street this year.
The crowd definitely got a workout from all the bangers that Smash Gordon and Dj Klever dropped but Dirtyphonics took the cake. They had everyone on the dancefloor going nuts. People were jumping for the sky one minute and straight up moshing the next. You never know what to expect when those guys are on the stage and they certainly proved that last Friday.

I recently spent a day driving with Austin through the streets of Baltimore. Did I mention the 3 ft of snow? After a cup of hot cocao, and adjusting my snuggie, I was feeling inspired as ever, and Austin sprung the idea of a mix. It features songs, new and old, from artists such as Eskmo, Scuba, Excision, Emalkay, Dub Crookz, Headhunter, etc. Also, I only put about 25 minutes together, the rest is picked on the fly.
